DIRECTOR OF EVENTS

Duane Mah has been appointed Director of Events for Hyatt Regency Irvine as of January 2024.

Duane has been with Hyatt for more than 20 years. He started his Hyatt career at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver and eventually moved to California and has worked at Hyatt Regency Long Beach. Hyatt Regency Newport Beach, and Hyatt Regency Century Plaza. After the Century Plaza closed for redevelopment, he has been at the Beverly Hilton and the Fairmont Century Plaza.

Event Sales Manager

Sarah is a very talented Event Sales Manager and has worked in the Social Wedding Market since 2019 in the Long Beach/Orange County Market.

Her most recent position was with Wedgewood Weddings at The Sanctuary Event Space in Long Beach..

Jacqueline Marshall

Event Sales Manager

Jacqueline has been working in customer service and events for over 20 years. Her career has led her to have been employed with great companies such as the Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, AAA and Cal Poly Pomona. Jacqueline is excited to bring her event planning experience to the Hyatt family.

Trish Santalla

Event Sales Manager

Over 17 years ago Trish started her Hyatt career at Hyatt Regency Irvine. During Trish's Hyatt career she has worked at Hyatt Regency Indian Wells Resort & Spa, Hyatt Regency Orange County, and Park Hyatt Aviara Resort Golf Club and Spa.

Dominique Shelton

Event Planning Manager

Dedicated to customer satisfaction, Dominique has worked in hospitality for over 10 years. Her most recent roles were at Malibu Beach Inn, Fairmont Century Plaza, and AC Marriott in the Event Sales and Planning Department. Now, at Hyatt Regency Irvine, she is excited to continue expanding her career on an upward path.

Tarren Zue

Event Planning Manager

Tarren has been with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts for 6 years. She started out her Hyatt career at the Hyatt Regency Seattle as an Event Coordinator, she then moved to the Grand Hyatt San Diego and then to Grand Hyatt San Francisco Airport as a Sales and Events Planning Manager. She then transferred to Hyatt Regency Irvine as our Event Planning Manager.
